ASIC Card Replacements, Transfers & Reprints
There may be circumstances that arise during the validity of your AusCheck background check (usually 2 years) where you will need your ASIC card to be reprinted. These circumstances will either require a Replacement or a Transfer.
Replacement – You will need a replacement ASIC card printed if:
- your ASIC is lost, stolen, defaced or damaged.
- you have changed your name.
- you have a new VISA expiry.
- your operational need changes your ASIC card colour and/or scope.
You will need to complete a replacement form, including a statutory declaration. Our team will provide these to you when you contact us. A replacement ASIC costs $99.
Transfer – You may require your ASIC to be transferred from another issuing body to Aviation ID in certain circumstances. For example, if your operational need changes (such as changing employers) and it is more appropriate for you to hold an Aviation ID issued ASIC. A transfer ASIC costs $145.
